SCHOOLS COMPETITION

WELCOME TO #LOVE WHERE U LIVE!

A COMPETITION WHERE CHILDREN CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Inspired by children and young people’s love for their hometowns and their unique communities, high street regeneration experts,#RainbowRising have launched an unusual #competition “Love Where U live” -a simple, feel-good idea that’s captured hearts and minds of children and young people across the UK. Designed to help celebrate everything that’s great about where we live, founder #ShayleshPatel hopes children and young people will take up the challenge to create something new that will make a real difference.

Most of us love where we live, whether it’s a town, city or remote village .After all it’s where we come from -it’s our roots. We’ve been through a lot together and can be rightly proud of our communities, their tenacity and resilience. At Rainbow Rising,we think it’s about time we celebrated how truly amazing they are. We want to put a smile on every town, village and city’s face –make them blush when they hear us all say, “We live here, and we love it!” That’s what “Love Where U Live”is all about! And here’s how we’re going to do it

SIGN UP FOR OUR COMPETITION

We’re asking children and young people under 16 across the UK to enter a rather unusual competition to create new descriptions and designs for their hometown welcome signs. They can use up to three positive words to sum up how they feel about the great places where they live. These new signs could say “Welcome to..

Gorgeous Gloucester, Super Sunderland, Wonderful Woking

Rainbow Rising founder Shaylesh Patel said: “Our communities have been through a lot these last couple of years –especially our children and young people. We’re all proud of our roots, where we were born or simply where we live now. That’s what “Love Where U Live” is all about! This competition is just the start. And there are some great prizes to be won!
